Marrakech
Marrakesh, Morocco's fourth-largest and an imperial city, thrives with life. At the Atlas Mountains' base, it's a spectacle of warmth. Founded around 1070, it became the Almoravid dynasty's core. Its terracotta walls and crimson sandstone earned it ``Crimson City`` or ``Ochre Haven`` titles. Marrakesh flourished as a cultural, religious, and commercial hub, later adorned by the Saadian dynasty. Since the 17th century, it's drawn Sufi pilgrims to its seven revered saints.

The city’s ancient, fortified core, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, overflows with merchants. It features the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, countless traditional markets, and the iconic Kutubiyya Mosque. Marrakesh is a major economic engine and tourist magnet, especially popular with the French.
Well-connected via Ménara International Airport and rail, Marrakesh also hosts Cadi Ayyad University and is a football hub. It even stages international motorsports at the Marrakesh Street Circuit.
