Day 1: From Marrakech to Dades Valley via Ait Ben Haddou & Ouarzazate
- Your 7 days in Morocco adventure begins with a breathtaking drive from Marrakech to Dades Valley, passing through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi NโTichka Pass.
- After the the Tizi NโTichka pass weโll stop in a traditional Berber village for a mint tea, where you will experience the local lifestyle and culture, before continuing our journey.
- After breakfast, youโll have the opportunity to visit the Kasbah of Telouet, a 17th-century fortress where you can admire the unique architecture and learn about its history. Then weโll head to the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its ancient clay architecture.
- Did you know? You might have already seen the Ait Ben Haddo, as it has been featured in films like Gladiator or the series The Game of Thrones.
- After lunch in Ouarzazate, located in the desert which is called the "Hollywood of Morocco", weโll explore the Kasbah of Tourirt and then we will continue to Skoura, where the 18th-century Kasbah of Ameridhil awaits. We'll also pass through Kalaat Mgouna, the heart of the Valley of Roses, which is exceptionally beautiful all year round, but especially in spring, because of the blooming of its famous rose fields.
- By late afternoon weโll reach the Dades Valley, famous for its gorges and rock formations. Along the way, we'll visit the authentic Berber located between the cliffs and lush valleys.

Day 2: Todgha Gorge and Sunset Arrival in Merzouga Desert
- We will start the day with breakfast, before heading east toward one of the Moroccoโs most famous natural wonders: the Todgha Gorge. Carved into the red limestone by centuries of water erosion, the Todgha Gorges near Tinghir are a unique sight, with cliffs reaching up to 300 meters high.
- You will have the opportunity to take a stroll across the oasis located at the base of the gorge which is an ideal spot for both photography or just enjoying the view of this nature's wonder.
- After our visit in the Todgha Gorges, before continuing our journey, we'll stop for lunch in Tinjdad, a quaint town along the road to the desert. By early afternoon, after lunch, weโll pass through Erfoud, known as the gateway to the Saharan oasis, known for its fossil workshops and date palm plantations.
- By late afternoon, weโll arrive at the dunes of Merzouga, just in time for the sunset over the Sahara Desert, a unique experience you'll remember forever!
- Weโll spend the night in Merzouga at a desert hotel/ camp, where you'll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and rest beneath a star-filled sky.

Day 3: Merzouga Sunrise, Sahara Desert Adventures & Overnight Camp in Erg Chebbi
- Weโll start the day early (while itโs still dark) and wait to see the sun slowly rising over the dunes of the Sahara Desert. After breakfast, weโll begin our journey through the Merzouga Desert. Traveling by 4x4 jeep, weโll cross the Merzouga oasis, visit a nomadic community living in the area, and then head to the Khamlia village. This authentic African village is home to the Gnawa people, known for their musical heritage and spiritual rhythms. Here, weโll enjoy a live performance and learn about their traditional way of life.
- Next, weโll stop by Lake Merzouga, which occasionally attracts migratory birds such as flamingos. From there, weโll continue to Rissani, a historic Saharan town that was once a thriving hub for trans-Saharan caravans. Its markets and kasbahs offer a glimpse into deep-rooted Moroccan culture.
- By late afternoon, weโll make our way to the Erg Chebbi dunes, where a warm nomadic welcome awaits at our Merzouga desert camp. After sipping a glass of fresh mint tea, weโll mount camels and ride through the dunes just before sunset. At night, youโll enjoy the traditional cuisine, music, and storytelling under the stars during your stay at the Merzouga Sahara desert camp, an extraordinary way to end our third day in Morocco.

Day 4: From Sahara Dunes to the Switzerland of Morocco โ Journey to Fes
- Weโll begin the day with breakfast in the Merzouga desert, then drive toward Fes, traveling through the beautiful landscapes of Morocco. Our first stop will be at the Ziz Valley, where the cliffs and green palm groves shape a breath-taking backdrop. Along this canyon, youโll see the El Oued Ziz carving and then the Tafilalt Oasis, one of the largest and most historic oases in the country.
- The Tafilalt Oasis in Morocco is a key stop on any cultural itinerary, historically serving as a key rest point for ancient trans-Saharan caravans. Here, youโll sense the blend of desert and agricultural life that thrives along its waterways.
- We will stop then in Errachidia for lunch. Afer our stop we'll drive through Azrou, known for its vast cedar forests and Barbary macaques.
- As we continue north, the landscape dramatically changes. We reach Ifrane city, also called the โSwitzerland of Moroccoโ, thanks to its alpine-style architecture, flower-filled parks, and clean, organized streets. With its fresh mountain air and modern infrastructure, Ifrane stands in contrast to the arid desert we left behind just a few hours earlier.
- By late afternoon, weโll arrive in Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco, where we settle into our hotel or traditional riad for the night.

Day 5: Discovering Fes โ Moroccoโs Cultural and Spiritual Heart
- After breakfast, weโll begin a full day dedicated to exploring Fes, the oldest of Moroccoโs imperial cities and widely recognized as the spiritual capital of the country. With its culture, history, and architectural wonders, visiting Fes is a bit like stepping back in time. Our guided tour starts with the majestic Dar al-Makhzen, the Royal Palace of Fes, located between the cityโs new and old quarters. From here, weโll walk into the maze-like alleys of Fes El Bali, the ancient medina and a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for being one of the largest and most intact medieval cities in the world.
- Among the best places to visit in Fes are the Al Karaouine University, considered the worldโs oldest continually operating university, and the colorful Chouara Tanneries, where leather is traditionally dyed in massive stone vats as it has been for centuries. Weโll also explore the Attarine Museum, housed in a beautifully preserved madrasa showcasing traditional Moroccan art and tilework.
- After lunch, weโll continue visiting Fes el Bali, a busy souk where artisans craft everything from copperware and rugs to ceramics and lanterns. Its beautiful, characteristic streets and hidden gems offer a taste of real Moroccan life.
- Later in the afternoon, weโll visit Fes El Jdid and the modern new city of Fes. With boulevards and French-inspired architecture this part of the city offers a completely different vibe compared to the ancient town. The blend of old and new makes Fes one of the most fascinating places to visit in Morocco.
- After our tour of Fes, weโll spend the night at a hotel or at the traditional riad.

Day 6: From Ancient Roman Ruins to Imperial Splendor โ Volubilis, Meknes & Arrival in Rabat
- After breakfast, weโll begin our journey heading west with a stop at one of Moroccoโs most famous archaeological sites: the Roman city of Volubilis.
- Once a Roman outpost between 24 and 285 AD, the ruins of Volubilis are very well-preserved. This is a UNESCO World Heritage site,once a major administrative center of the Roman Empire in North Africa, where you can admire the mosaics, arches, and crumbled stone columns, scattered across the green hills.
- Continuing on, weโll reach the city of Meknes, one of Moroccoโs four imperial cities. Founded by the Almoravids and later expanded under Sultan Moulay Ismail, the imperial city of Meknes is known for its architecture and history. Weโll visit iconic landmarks such as the grand Bab el-Mansur gate, the Sahrij Souani basin, and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, a powerful symbol of Moroccoโs royal legacy.
- In the late afternoon, weโll continue our journey to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Youโll arrive in time to check in and relax at your hotel, preparing for the final day of this unforgettable 7-day Moroccan adventure.

Day 7: Explore Rabat & Casablanca โ From History to Modern Morocco
- After breakfast at the hotel, weโll begin our final day with a guided Rabat city tour. The highlight of the morning is the visit to the Kasbah of the Udayas, an 11th-century fortress located above the Atlantic Ocean. This Andalusian-style kasbah offers a panoramic view of the city of Salรฉ and is one of the most iconic historical sites in Morocco.
- As we explore the blue and white alleyways of the Kasbah of the Udayas, you'll learn about its history, architecture, and the importance to Rabatโs coastal defense.
- After lunch, weโll continue to Casablanca, Moroccoโs economic hub. Upon arrival, weโll visit the Hassan II Mosque, where youโll admire the modern Moroccan architecture and one of the largest mosques in the world.
- Weโll end the day with a stop at Place Mohammed V, surrounded by French colonial-era buildings that mark the administrative core of Casablanca, before heading to the hotel or the airport.
