Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Boumalne Dades
Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 meters), with a stop for panoramic photos.
Visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and filming location for numerous movies.
Continue toward Ouarzazate with a stop for lunch.
Drive through the Valley of Roses, with a stop at the Skoura oasis to explore its scenic palm grove.
Arrive in the Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay in a charming hotel or traditional riad.
Day 2: Boumalne Dades – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert Camp
Depart towards Merzouga, with a stop in Tinghir, a Berber village whose name means “shoulder” and which once served as a French military outpost.
After lunch at a local restaurant, continue toward the city of Erfoud, known for its fossils.
Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon and take a camel ride into the desert to watch the sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Enjoy a traditional Berber dinner and spend the night in a desert tented camp, accompanied by Berber music.
Day 3: Desert Camp – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes
Depart for Fes, passing through the scenic Ziz Valley with a photo stop along the way.
Lunch in Midelt, known for its apple orchards and mineral resources.
Visit the cedar forest of Azrou to spot Barbary macaques.
Make a brief stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.”
Arrive in Fes in the late afternoon and check in at the hotel or riad.
